Went to see this movie because first I got the tickets for free...care of Arbin's allowance. We watched it at Robinson's Metro East, 9am. It's funtime outside with my kids, and we enjoyed it very much lalo na akong MJ fanatic.

She's out of the woods!

Last week, Hershey suddenly had lost her appetite, stayed in the corner and almost as always slept the day away. She only fumbled her way in her usual corner to peeh but I almost puke when I one day did smell something awful. When I tried to look around for that stinking odor, I saw fresh blood but it wasn't the red but it was far beyond the color of fresh blood. It wasn't what I was expecting because it was her pooh...when I saw some underneath his long tail. What I did was I called my son and let him brought Hershey to our vet. Voila! He gave Hershey a 30% chance to live. He told me that her condition was something critical already. Since I was shy of extra money that time, my son instead of having Hershey into confinement that would cost us P1800 in 24 hours only, and spending again P1500 the next day...for a complete package, he just asked for some medications to bring home. We all prayed for Hershey's recovery.. Reggie, my son's buddy told me in jest, "tita maghanda na po kayo ng sako", but that was long before they took Hershey to the doctor. Now, Hershey is back in his frisky behavior, barks a lot, and her appetite is really going up to the maximum level. Trying to catch up some lost time I think after a week-long of being famished due to lack of appetite and energy. After ensuring her condition, I then took Mishah to the vet again for injections. And I always see to it that the house is in spic and span order and spraying every nook with Lysol every now and then for our protection naman. Mahirap ang may alaga kung wala kang tyaga. We dispose their dungs properly and we do not allow them to just pooh everywhere. Pet lovers should always be responsible owners.

I think there's a very slim chance left for me to see Homer again.....after he lost his way during the height of Ondoy's floodwater. Maybe he was salvaged from the surging water by PAWS...good thing if that was possible...and I hope so instead of thinking that he died of hunger and cold or drowned. I wasn't able to look for him around the vicinity where he was during the typhoon because the car was not spared by the raging flood.

We do miss Homer a lot!

Recently they have proposed a House Bill proposing to revive the 'mothballed' Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). That's why we would like to invite you to join us in saying: “NO TO BNPP!”

This Sunday, (February 22, 2009) 9AM, we are hoping to gather at least 500 people in a human banner to say "NO TO BNPP", at the Sunken Garden of the University of the Philippines in Diliman.

The image of this human banner will be sent as a solidarity message to the people of the Bataan as well as to send a clear message to our lawmakers that the message is clear: “NO TO BNPP”.

Only the closest of the closest to me calls me by my real childhood petname. I am Nor..to my friends, mommycool to my web peers but I am Noks(NOX) to a very few. As I was exchanging emails to my friend who "knows-it-all", he wrote about Morpheus because my last email I said I was some kind of sleepy and said goodnight. Then this morning it came to my mind that my childhood petname NOX meant something... NYX is the goddess of the night...in Greek myth, if translated to Roman she's NOX. And how can I explain this...that I always sleep late...as in, I thought of being an insomniac. My regular sleep would fall at 1 midnight and onward. My regular bio-clock would wake me up as early as 4 in the morning, that's why health-wise I forced myself to take a short nap at daytime. Well, I feel like very nocturnal who stays awake at night. It is easy to find fault or criticize others, but it would be better to put one's own house in order first. Keeping one's household seems to be very easy but if you're actually in the position you'll know how it is. Sometimes it is easier said than done. Say what if your child grew up to somebody who's so disrespectful? For me it always starts from the house...or rather we call it home. If a child grew up with his mom around and as I always believe that a good mom only has good words to ingrain in her young child's mind. What kind of parent will instill hatred and or let them harbor ill will against someone?
A good parent is one who will always guide the children to be good, friendly and respectful of others and not one with hostile and belligerent attitude. The characters of our children will always depend on how we mold them to be and environment takes a great part in the process. It will always depend on the environment he grew up with.

Unforseen slippery slopes...

I honestly admit...being indecisive and feeble-minded cost me a lot of follies. Siguro kung sarili ko lang iisipin ko, hindi ako magkakamali. Being a Libran, I always take into consideration things/people that shouldn't matter in the first place. I would always feel for others. Kahit galit na ako sila pa rin iniisip ko or things that should be of little value. I always wanted myself to be absolved truly and free of guilt if something sordid happens along the way. I can't imagine myself being the cause of something that will earn me of some intense firestorms. ..and inappropriate shenanigans. But being as combative as I am, which I want to shake off from my system, I cannot truly imagine myself heaping coals of fire on someone else's head, lalo pa't they'll hit my raw nerves...on the onset nagiging ballistic ako pero ako na rin ang gagawa ng paraan to put everything to a halt and deflect but not necessarily to be pushed over. I just believe in the saying na "if you can't stand the heat just get out of the kitchen."

Just how I wish to have a circumspect decision and behavior.

Last Sunday my daughter decided to have her long time needed hair-cut. I nixed the idea because for me it's nice for a girl to have long and well-maintaned lustrous hair. I am very strict with hair cutting so kaya kahit wala sa budget anyway we went have it on David's Salonm Sta Lu branch...the one near the bowling lane...center pala. In fairness maganda siya. A girl hairstylist did a good job.
When we were walking along the department store on our way home dahil di naman ako mahilig magwindow shop...one saleslady approached us when I was loooking for a certain brand of concealer. Not mine but for C. We hit it right off, polite kasi siya and very courteous. Kaya kahit di ako pabili napabili kami ni C. Mura lang naman siya. Then she politely offered to trim my eyebrows. Eh iyan pa naman ang problema ko. I don't want to pluck it coz it hurts so much...di ko naman ma-trim by shaving. Well, the result was good and satisfied ako. Ang galing niyang mag-shape...ala...KA...promis! I like it. I got her name...Margie Bulgado...she deserves such praise for being so good mannered. And I love it...such a rarity nowadays.

I'd been worried sick because a friend is in gloomy situation now. She almost freaked out of fear, losing her job. I know she's been so good enough. Very articulate and strait-laced. But looking back, I was so afraid she would be in enough trouble for being so calm, a bit cold and impassive, inspite of her intellectual factor. I just don't know how insensitive some people are. The problem is the inevitable crab mentality of some people. Sometimes or rather most of the time, when somebody becomes a threat, someone will pull you down to grab the chance. The opportunity and chance to make her way to the top will be put to a halt.

And accoding to him it is very common for two people who are madly in love one day to hate each other or fight the next day. These sudden shifts are confusing yet they are very common...and if we don't understand why they happen we may think and mistakenly conclude that our love has died. Fortunately there is an explanation...find that out...get a book now...am sure you won't regret buying it.

It's not easy to maintain a lot of blogsites all at the same time...sigh...napapabayaan ko ung iba. But then, alam kong ngbabakasyon ako kaya okey lang siguro na hindi ako nakapagpopost...when I come back to Pinas, I promise to myself na bibigyan ko ulit ang mga yon ng time. Sometimes...kailangan ko din ng break like this...I deserve this once in a blue moon na vacation.

A yahoo again, because we're thinking of celebrating the next holiday in Kuala Lumpur...ang sarap di ba? After all the hassles in my life...I need a breather like this. Minsan lang tayo mabubuhay and we need to enjoy sometimes in our life. Kundi sa KL baka Hongkong kaya. Yahoo di ba?!

Napakasaya ng mundo ko ngayon although nagtitiis akong mangulila sa aking mga naiwan sa Pinas. Ang hirap kapag nalalayo sa mga mahal mo. Kahit nageenjoy ka...at the back of my mind...naiisip ko ang aking responsibilidad para sa kanila. But then, alam kong may mga isip na ang mga anak ko kaya prayers lang ang kailangan...sigh...pero I do miss home talaga.

Getting ready for my vacation in Japan!

I am excited and at the same time I feel sad knowing my children will be left here alone. All by themselves...but well they're already in their early teens. I want to teach them independence, let them mature...

It's hard for me...but then anyway that's life. Anyway it will only be for 6 month-long. Not so sure if I can adopt to the weather...

But anyway...it will surely be fun and an experience for me, since I'll be with a loved one.

I'm a happy soul now....

I am happy...yes...truly happy this time. And the person in the picture is one of those who really wants to make me feel on top of the world. There are a lot of hassle still but the difference is...I don't give a damn anymore. What I do and what I think about mostly is for the good of my children. Still I don't forget to share some of these blessings to those who are in need...and less fortunate. Sometimes it's easier to make other people happy...
